The large and heterogeneous island of Sardinia is very much appreciated indeed. Extremely rich in history and landscapes, it ranges from luxury to great entertainments of the very social life triumphing in Costa Smeralda and the incredible magic of the wildest and most primitive destinations, such as the Porto Pino Sand Dunes. And more than any other island, you can capture its real essence by discovering it by boat.
Starting from Golfo degli Aranci, you soon reach the most famous and well-known summer locations of Porto Rotondo, Porto Cervo and the enchanting Costa Smeralda. You sail from here to the island of Santa Maria and, later on, to the crystal clear waters of Santo Stefano, Caprera and Cala Coticcio as well as the astonishing Capocchia d’ù Purpu that seems to be the perfect location for an intense photo session thanks to its distinguishing light.
Sailing the northwest coast, it is the turn of Spargi and, further on, Budelli -with its extraordinary natural pools-, Cala Santa Maria and Razzoli. Passing the most northern cape, Santa Teresa di Gallura, you little by little discover the whole western coast of the island and the wonderful locations of Porto Torres, the Asinara national park and La Pelosa beach in Stintino with its really fine sand and turquoise waters. Therefore you start descending the west coast to Alghero and Oristano, up to Carloforte, which is the only inhabited center of the colorful and fragrant island of San Pietro. Immediately after, you arrive at Sant’Antioco, whose municipality is located on one of the oldest remains of the western Mediterranean, and before passing the most southern cape of the island, you absolutely can’t miss one of the most amazing, exciting and wild places ever, that is the Porto Pino Dunes, which are always beautiful for sure, but even more at sunset. Since you are on an island full of surprising places, the surprises are not over indeed, because, before reaching Chia, another it-place to be visited once in your life are the so blue waters of Cala Zafferano.
Then you arrive at Cagliari, Maracalagonis, Villasimius, Cala Sinzias, Costa Rei, sailing along Cala Gonone, San Teodoro and Orosei, finally landing back to Olbia. Sardinia: a unique place able to satisfy even the most demanding people.
